If you ferry across the Sea of Galilee, stroll the Garden of Gethsemane or pause for a moment by the Wailing Wall, you’ll find this unique Holy Land Tour to be a very spiritual experience. The focus of our program is on Biblical history, religion and tradition. The group will be accompanied by Pastor J.J. Wicke, First United Methodist Church, Harlingen. A local Christian guide will also accompany us offering you an unforgettable journey.
DAY 1 – Tuesday, April 28, 2020 – GATEWAY-TEL AVIV
Depart from the McAllen Airport on United Airlines via Houston Intercontinental and to Newark for our overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel. Complimentary in flight service with meals and amenities on board.
DAY 2 – Wednesday, April 29, 2020 – ARRIVAL TEL AVIV – BETHLEHEM
We arrive mid morning to the Ben Gurion Airport where we meet our Israeli guide and driver who will take us to Bethlehem for lunch and an abbreviated tour of the city where Christ was born. Overnight in Bethlehem. L, D
DAY 3 – Thursday, April 30, 2020 – HAIFA – MUHARKA – STELLA MARIS – MEGIDDO – CAESAREA
Drive to Caesarea once the capital of the Roman Province and see the harbor from which St. Paul was taken to Rome. Continue to Haifa and Mt. Carmel and the famous Persian Hanging Gardens. Proceed to Muharka, the place of sacrifice and the site where the prophet Elijah defeated the false prohphets of Ba’al. Also visit Megiddo the place of Armageddon. Continue to Tiberias for dinner and overnight. B, L, D
DAY 4 – Friday, May 1, 2020 – NAZARETH
Take a boat ride to Capernaum where you will see an ancient synagogue and St. Peter’s house which was later converted into a church. Also by the shore you will visit Tabgha with the Church of Peter’s Primacy and the ancient mosaic of the Loaves and Fishes. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount is remembered. In the afternoon visit Golan Heights and the Springs of Banias also known as Caesarea Philippi where Peter said “thou art Christ”. End the day at the Traditional Baptism Site before returning to Tiberias for dinner and overnight. B, L, D
DAY 5 – Saturday, May 2, 2020 – SEA OF GALILEE – CAPERNAUM – TABGHA – MT. BEATITUDES – GOLAN HEIGHTS
Drive to Nazareth and see the oldest Church of the Annunciation with Mary’s Well. Afterwards visit Nazareth Village, an excavated village dating from around 1 AD. The excavations have carefully renovated the synagogue and houses to give a unique insight into village life and agriculture, as it would have been at the time of Jesus. Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight. B, L, D
DAY 6 – Sunday, May 3, 2020 – BAPTISMAL SITE – BET SHEAN, JERICHO -JERUSALEM
After breakfast, continue to Bet Shean and on to the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest city on the earth. Visit the sycamore tree and the Mount of Temptation. Continue to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. B, L, D
DAY 7 – Monday, May 4, 2020 – OLD CITY AND THE GARDEN TOMB
Today we drive to the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit the Wailing Wall, the Dome of the Rock and Al Aksa Mosque and continue to the Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. Follow the Stations of the Cross and visit Lithrostos, Ecce Homo Arch and the Zion Sisters. Leave the city through the bazaars to the west by Jaffa Gate. There will be time for a service at the Garden Tomb before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight. B, L, D
DAY 8 – Tuesday, May 5, 2020 – MOUNT OF OLIVES – GETHSEMANE – ST. PETER GALLICANTU – MT. ZION – BETHELEM
Visit the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Ascension where Jesus is believe to have ascended to heaven. Next visit Paster Noster where the Lord’s Prayer was taught. Walk along the Palm Sunday road to the chapel of Dominiuous Flevit and the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Church of Agony and St. Peters in Gallicantu. Drive to Mt. Zion via Kidron Valley or visit the Room of the Last Supper and tomb of David. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. . DAY 9 – Wednesday, May 6, 2020 – QUMRAN – DEAD SEA – MASSADA
Proceed to Qumran where the Essene enclave was and see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were hidden. Drive along the shore of the Dead Sea on to Ein Gidi and then to Massada, the last stronghold of Jewish resistance to the Romans. Time for a dip in the Dead Sea before returning to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. B, L, D
DAY 10 – Thursday May 7, 2020 – EMAUS – HOUSTON – HOME
Free morning to visit for last minute shopping and packing. Lunch on your own followed by a visit to Emaus where Christ appeared after his resurrection. Enjoy a farewell dinner. Then depart for the airport to arrive three hours prior to departure. B, D
DAY 11 – Friday, May 8, 2020 – Our departure is scheduled for 12:55am via San Francisco, Houston and arriving into McAllen at 4:00pm on the same day.

Travel Protection Insurance: We strongly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance. The insurance company that we use will accept pre-existing conditions if insurance is taken out within 14 days of initial deposit.
Passports are required and must be valid for 6 months after the trip return date. Please furnish a copy of your passport on or before making the second payment.
Deposit: A deposit of $300.00 is due immediately. Seats are limited. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. Once we have utilized the contracted airline space, we cannot guarantee the tour price as the airline tickets could increase when reserved outside the guaranteed block.
Second Payment: An additional $1,500.00 is due on or before January 15, 2020.
Balance Due: On or before March 15, 2020
FULL REFUNDS – Minus a $100.00 service fee will be returned to passenger if cancellation is prior to January 15, 2020. Once the airline ticket is purchased, that cost is non refundable.
